According to data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported roughly 22,300 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in January, representing an increase of 12% from the previous month and a 13% hike compared to the same month a year earlier.

Among them, exports to Canada occupied the largest share, amounting to around 19,000 tons, a month-on-month rise of 12.5% and a year-on-year increase of 54%. Exports to other countries were comparatively low.

In terms of value, the OCTG exports generated roughly US$38 million during the period, up by 1.3% year on year and down by 18% year on year.
