US-based steelmaker Nucor Corporation announced to cut its steel plate prices, effective from July 1.

Nucor lower the ex-works prices for cut-to-length plates by US$125/short ton. Besides, the company also remained the prices for Q&T plates.

The company said it will continue to monitor import and other market activity to ensure the company's pricing remains competitive in the market.
