Taiwan's upstream stainless steel mills receive orders smoothly

Taiwan's upstream stainless steel mills adopt individual price negotiations for January offers. Recently, Indonesia Tsingshan has raised prices for the Taiwan market and has a strong attitude towards maintaining offers.

At present, orders are being received enthusiastically. In addition, driven by the replenishment of downstream distributors, upstream steel mills are receiving brisk orders. The market expects that after the Lunar New Year holiday in February, there will be a next wave of inventory replenishment.

Although buyers still lack confidence in the market trend, coupled with the February holiday, actual demand is not good. However, the January offers by upstream steel mills were mostly flat or slightly increased, and each mill is obviously trying to stabilize the current price.
