According to data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported nearly 19,900 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in December last year, representing a slight decrease of 0.26% from the previous month and a 27% hike compared to the same month a year earlier.

Among them, exports to Canada occupied the largest share, amounting to around 17,000 tons, a month-on-month rise of 11.6% and a year-on-year increase of 44%. Exports to other countries were comparatively low.

In terms of value, the OCTG exports generated roughly US$37 million during the period, down by 14% year on year and up by 3.9% year on year.
