On April 7, 2025, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) and the US International Trade Commission (USITC) ruled that revoking the existing anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on Chinese circular welded carbon quality steel line pipes may lead to the continued or renewed occurrence of dumping and countervailable subsidies, causing material harm to the US industry.

Therefore, the USDOC will issue a notice regarding the continuation of these AD and CVD orders.

The products involved are classified in the HTSUS under subheadings 7306.19.10.10, 7306.19.10.50, 7306.19.51.10, and 7306.19.51.50

In a separate AD case, the USDOC’s preliminary investigation found that during the review period from March 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, certain Thai producers/exporters of circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes did not sell their products at prices below normal value. Also, the USDOC will revoke the review, in part, regarding 28 companies.
