Hydnum Steel and Thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe have signed a strategic agreement to advance low-emission steel production, representing a significant milestone in the industry's journey toward sustainability.

Hydnum Steel, which is currently constructing a state-of-the-art flat steel plant in Puertollano, Spain, will supply Thyssenkrupp Materials Processing with up to 100,000 tonnes of decarbonized flat steel annually for seven years. This partnership reflects the increasing demand for environmentally friendly materials, particularly in industries such as automotive, construction, and household appliances.

Thyssenkrupp Materials Processing, which has extensive facilities throughout Europe, aims to expand its sustainable product range through this collaboration. Both companies will also explore low-impact logistics and innovative business models to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions.
