According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey's cold-rolled coil (CRC) imports amounted to 683,000 tons in the first three quarters of this year, hiking by 18% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, the imports from South Korea accounted for the largest proportion, totaling 265,000 tons, more than doubled in comparison to the year-ago level.

China ranked second with approximately 124,000 tons, keeping stable year on year. Imports from the traditional supplier Russia, however, decreased by 33% year on year to around 151,000 tons.
