Thyssenkrupp, a German steel manufacturer, announced that it will set up a new segment, Decarbon Technologies. The new segment will be responsible for energy transition and providing full visibility to its extensive capabilities for green transformation.

The new segment consisted of thyssenKrupp rothe erde, thyssenKrupp nucera, and Uhde and Polysius businesses, which own key technologies for the decarbonization of industry, respectively. From October 1, these companies will be combined into the new segment.
