According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 1,900 tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) in January this year, increasing by 13.7% compared to the previous month and by 27.3% from the same month a year earlier.

Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling 12,700 tons, a month-on-month increase of 14.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 25.5%. Mexico ranked second with roughly 1,900 tons, and the exports to other countries were not so many.

During the period, the export value totaled roughly US$40 million, up by 18.6% month on month and by 7.2% year on year.
