Australia makes preliminary affirmative AD ruling on China’s interchangeable bolted clipping system clip heads and brackets

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced its preliminary affirmative determination of the anti-dumping (AD) duty on interchangeable bolted clipping system clip heads and brackets from China, deciding to impose securities with the ad valorem duty method.

For clip heads, under tariff subheading 7326.90.90 (statistical code 60), the dumping security is 31.5% for Ningbo Fenghui Metal Products Co., Ltd. (Fenghui) and 76.8% for all other exporters.

For brackets, under tariff subheadings7326.90.90 (statistical code 60) and 7318.15.00 (all statistical codes: 51, 52, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 69, 70, 71, 90), Fenghui received dumping security of 95.7% and all other exporters are subject to 120.0%.

In terms of countervailing duties, the Commission will continue the investigation as there is currently insufficient supporting evidence.

The imposition of the interim AD duties on the above two subject products will start on March 13, 2025.
