Taiwan’s CSC to announce new price for Mar on Feb 14

China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, is expected to announce its domestic sales price of steel plates for March this Friday (February 14). Due to the unclear quotations in China and the high production costs of coal and iron, CSC’s prices are expected to be mainly flat and will be adjusted according to changes in projects.

Currently, the international steel market is experiencing the most significant growth in Europe and the US, but market acceptance remains to be seen.

US hot-rolled coil prices continued to rise last week, higher than imported products, and most steel buyers have accepted steel mills' price increases. In Europe, steel mills were maintaining their prices and distributors also planned to raise their selling prices.
