Ruukki Construction, a unit of SSAB, has opened a new roof profile production line in Vimpeli, Finland. The profile production line is nearly 100 meters long and will help double the factory's snap lock roofing production capacity.

SSAB said this advancement will bring better and more sustainable roofing products to different partners and customers.

The production line is the largest single-machine investment in the project, with a cost of EUR 8 million.

In addition to increasing production capacity, it also simplifies the material flows, adds automation equipment, and is dedicated to the production of Ruukki Classic, Ruukki Classic LowCarbon, and Ruukki Trendic profiles.
