Australia launches anti-dumping duty investigation on rebar from five countries

According to the report, the Australian Anti-dumping Commission (ADC) decided to conduct the anti-dumping investigation on imported of rebar from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.

The investigation was initiated at the request of the local manufacturer InfraBuild NSW Pty. Ltd. and will take place from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. In Indonesia, this investigation pertains only to two companies, such as Ispat Panca Putera and PT Putra Baja Deli.

The diameter of the products involved in this investigation can reach up to 50 mm. The relevant tariff numbers are 7214.20.00, 7228.30.10, 7228.30.90, and 7228.60.10.
