On August 1, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) initiated the first sunset review of the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on steel trailer wheels from China.

Meanwhile, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) also launched the first AD and CVD five-year review on the same subject products from China to determine whether the material injury to the US domestic industry will continue or happen again within the reasonably foreseeable period if the existing AD and CVD orders are canceled.

The interested parties should file their responses to the USITC no later than September 3, 2024, and the comments on the adequacy of responses should be filed by October 10, 2024.
