Turkish steelmaker Borcelik will build a new cold-mill complex using Danieli technology. The new pickling line coupled to cold rolling mill, PLTCM, will use Danieli's patented Turboflo technology to more efficiently remove scale from the strip surface. The project will be launched in October 2026.

The continuous cold rolling mill uses Danieli's 6-Hi Optimized Shaped Roll Technology (OSRT) to ensure product stability in flatness, thickness, and performance at speeds up to 1,250 meters per minute.

The new continuous galvanizing and annealing line (CGAL) utilizes the Danieli Kohler X-Jet air-wiping system to achieve optimal zinc coating and best uniformity, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons. The project is planned to start in August 2026.
