US steel mill’s capacity utilization rate rises to 76.6%

According to the report, the United States steel mill’s capacity utilization rate had increased from 75.6% to 76.6% in the week of February 3, accounting for 1.702 million tons, the capacity utilization rate was 77.9% and output totaled 1.741 million tons last year, decreasing 2.2% compared with last year.

The total production by region is 136,000 tons, 562,000 tons, 190,000 tons, 746,000 tons, and 68,000 tons in the Northeast, Great Lakes region, the central and western regions, the southern region, and the western region.
