According to data from the Korea Iron and Steel Association, South Korea's color-coated steel plate exports in August were about 110,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%.

Among them, about 32,000 tons of South Korea's color-coated steel plate were exported to Europe, increasing by 38.4% compared with the same period last year. Besides, the exports to Central and South America went up by 23.1% year on year to around 19,000 tons, and exports to North America grew by 9% year on year to about 22,000 tons.

From January to August, South Korea's export volumes of color-coated steel sheets were about 832,000 tons, decreasing by 76% from the same period last year. In terms of import volume, the import volume went down by 37.2% year on year to about 143,000 tons.
