Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a premium aluminum producer based in the UAE and the largest aluminum producer in the Middle East, has expanded the use of Kenzen, a wearable technology platform, to 350 volunteer employees to wear its Beat the Heat, a heat-protection equipment, this summer.

Kenzen’s wearable technology reports core body temperature, heart rate, activity, as well as other body indicators in real time, which can offer potential injury to health due to the heat before the actual danger appears.

50 volunteers had a trial use of this wearable device for the first time last summer.
