In April, Turkey’s hot-rolled coil (HRC) imports increased by 2.5% year on year to about 391,000 tons. Among them, the imports from China hiked to 100,000 tons. In addition, Turkey imported HRC from Russia soared by triple year on year to about 99,000 tons.

At the same time, Taiwan’s HRC exports to Turkey amounted to 58,000 tons. The imports from India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam were about 22,000 tons, 21,000 tons, 20,000 tons, and 19,000 tons, respectively.
