Australia extends due date to issue AD & CVD rulings on zinc coated steel from 3 countries

On May 25, 2023, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced an extension of the deadline to publish the final report and recommendations of anti-dumping (AD) measures on zinc coated (galvanized) steel from Taiwan, China, and South Korea, and that of countervailing duty (CVD) measures on the same products from China.

The final recommendation will be made in a final report to the Minister for Industry and Science on or before June 22, 2023.

The products involved are flat-rolled products of alloyed steel, or iron and non-alloy steel, with a width less than 600mm and equal to or greater than 600mm, plated or coated with zinc, classified under HS codes 7210.49.00 (statistical codes 55, 56, 57 and 58), 7212.30.00 (statistical code 61), 7225.92.00 (statistical code 38), and 7226.99.00 (statistical code 71).
