US makes final CVD ruling on Turkey’s rebar

According to final results of countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that certain producers/exporters of steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Turkey received countervailable subsidies during the period of review from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.

Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S. received a de minimis subsidy rate of 0.07%, and Kaptan Demir Celik Endustrisi ve Ticaret A.S. and Icdas Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi A.S. received 2.15% each.

In addition, the USDOC rescinded the review on 21 companies that had no shipments of subject goods to the US during the period of review.
