The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) declared preliminary results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review on large diameter welded pipe (welded pipe) from South Korea.

The USDOC determined that HiSteel Co., Ltd. and the non-individually-examined companies for which a review was requested made sales of welded pipe from South Korea at prices below normal value, while Hyundai Steel Company did not make sales of the subject goods at prices below normal value during the period of review, May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022.

The weighted-average dumping margins for HiSteel and non-examined companies were assigned 6.17%. Hyundai Steel was assigned 0%.

The measure was effective from May 23, 2023.
