According to the Chinese Customs Administration, from January to February, Chinese exports of steel products increased by 49% year on year to about 12.19 million tons. Meanwhile, color-coated flat-rolled product exports were about 869,000 tons, decreasing by 1.41% year on year.

Besides, in February, China’s color-coated flat-rolled product exports totaled about 396,000 tons, rising by 19.22% year on year but falling by 16.03% month on month.

Regarding the outlook in March, China’s color-coated flat-rolled product exports were forecasted to be about 470,000 to 500,000 tons.
