According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China produced a total of around 33.9 million tons in the first two months of this year, sliding by 4.7% compared to the same period a year ago.

During the period, China’s output of wire rods was 21.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%, and welded pipe production hiked by 7% year on year to 7.6 million tons.
