Taiwan’s Mayer & Kao Hsing Chang raise steel pipe prices for Apr

Taiwan’s steel pipes manufacturer, Mayer and Kao Hsing Chang, announced their prices for April. Both companies increased their product prices by around 4%. Among them, the prices of black steel pipes and galvanized steel pipes were raised by NT$1,000/ton and NT$1,200/ton, respectively.

Kao Hsing Chang indicated that the orders from domestic buyers were expected to be optimistic by July, and the monthly order would reach about 2400 tons to 2500 tons. Regarding exports, because the raw material and international petroleum prices were high, the orders from foreign buyers were low.
