Australian coking coal exports drop in Feb m-o-m

In February, Australian coking coal exports dropped by 15% month on month to 9.13 million tons, which has dropped for three consecutive months. In January, adverse weather and a train derailment made the Australian coking coal shipment disrupted.

In February, the exports to India and Japan decreased by 50% and 45% month on month, respectively. Meanwhile, the exports to the EU greatly hiked by 41% from the previous month due to increasing demand for replenishment.
