India’s BCCL awards MDO mining areas to increase coking coal output

In order to increase the production of coking coal, BCCL, a major producer of prime coking coal in India, has awarded its three mining areas to miners, developers, and operators.

The three coking coal mines were awarded on a revenue sharing basis in mine-developer-cum-operator (MDO) model. Its work is to reopen, salvage, restore, develop, construct, and operate these mining areas, followed by excavation, Extraction, and delivery to customers.
