Australian nickel explorer and developer Pacific Nickel Mines confirmed that its export permit for its 80%-owned Kolosori Nickel project, located on Isabel Island in the Solomon Islands, has been approved, valid for three years. It allowed the company to sell and export nickel ore from the Kolosori project.

The company has discussed this with barging and mining contractors. The capital payback of the project was expected to be under 12 months because the technical risk of the project is low.
