Turkey to establish Rebar Monitoring System

17 Mar 2023 16:48 reported by Eric Xiao

A A A
The General Directorate of Mint and Stamp Printing House of Turkey will establish a Rebar Monitoring System to monitor, record and inspect all aspects of rebar production, import, use, and laboratory testing to ensure tax security.

Within the scope of this system, the monitoring of the application of steel safety labels and that of basic data related to production activities and delivery processes will be mandatory.

Without security labels or security signs, producers and importers will not be able to sell their inventory after January 1, 2024, and others (wholesalers, distributors, and traders) will not be able to sell their inventory after January 31, 2024.
