Due to the low-grade issues, the Naibulu Bauxite Mine in Dreketi, Fiji, owned by Xinfa Aurum Exploration, hasn’t resumed export activities.

The company has stopped bauxite exports for nearly four years. Filimoni Vosarogo, Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources of Fiji, said that the company is currently looking for ways to increase quality to meet the exportable standard in order to restart exports.

The company has a prospecting license in Wainunu, Bua. With the license progressed to mining, it can choose to mix to get the right grade and increase the output for export.
