Australia’s Nickel Industries reported that its attributable nickel production was 18,383 tons of nickel metal in the fourth quarter of 2022, growing by 13.3% compared to the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, the rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) quarterly production was 23,072 tons of nickel metal, including 18,329 tons in NPI and 4,743 tons in high-grade nickel matte.

In the first quarter of this year, the output of the Oracle Nickel project will continue to increase. Four RKEF production lines of this project will be put into operation in the first quarter, with an annual nameplate production capacity of 36,000 tons of nickel metal.
