EU extends AD measures on China’s aluminum road wheels

6 Feb 2023 16:43 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
According to the result of an expiry review launched on January 20, 2022, the European Commission decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping (AD) duty on imports of certain aluminum road wheels originating in China, saying that the expiry of the AD measure would likely lead to a continuation of dumping and continuation or recurrence of injury to the EU industry.

Therefore, this AD measure will be extended for another five years, in the form of an ad valorem duty at 22.3% on the subject goods from China.

The products involved are aluminum road wheels of motor vehicles, under CN codes ex 8708 70 10 and ex 8708 70 50 (TARIC codes 8708 70 10 15, 8708 70 10 50, 8708 70 50 15, and 8708 70 50 50).
