On January 18, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam announced its final determination of the new exporters review of the anti-dumping (AD) case on flat-rolled and painted alloy or non-alloy steel products from China and South Korea, ruling a duty rate of 3.88% on the two countries. This determination will come into force from March 3, 2023.

The products involved are under HS codes 7210.70.11, 7210.70.19, 7210.70.91, 7210.70.99, 7212.40.11, 7212.40.12, 7212.40.19, 7212.40.91, 7212.40.92, 7212.40.99, 7225.99.90, 7226.99.19, 7226.99.99.

The review of new exporters was launched in September last year based on the application filed by China’s Boxing Hengrui New Material Co., Ltd.
