China's crude steel output increases in middle Jan compared to beginning of Jan

According to statistics from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), from January 11 to 20, the daily average of China's crude steel output was about 2.41 million tons, increasing by 0.3% compared with January 1 to 10.

In the first twenty days of January, China's average daily pig iron production was 2.2 million tons, which was almost equal to the volume at the end of December.

Apart from that, on January 20, the stocks of finished steel in China's steel mills and spot markets went up to 25.36 million tons, increasing by 23.2% from December 31 and growing by 15.9% year on year.
