The surcharge for 304 (1.4301) was hiked to EUR 2,930/ton from January’s EUR 2,906/ton; that for 316 was increased to EUR 5,012/ton from EUR 4,693/ton in the previous month; that of 309S, used in high-temperature corrosion resistance applications, was raised to EUR 4,066/ton; that of ferritic stainless steel 409 was dropped to EUR 834/ton.

Due to the sharp increase in molybdenum prices in January, the surcharge of 316 stainless steel was significantly hiked.
