Australian FMG's iron ore production & shipment grow in Q4 q-o-q, y-o-y

Australian mining giant Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) reported that its iron ore production totaled 50 million tons in the fourth quarter of 2022, hiking by 4% compared to the previous quarter and by 3% from the year-ago level. The shipment of iron ore during the period reached 49.4 million tons, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 4% and a year-on-year hike of 4%.

In the whole year of 2022, FMG’s iron ore production amounted to 189 million tons, down by 1.9% year on year. The total shipment reached 188 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%.
