US’ line pipe imports grow in Nov y-o-y

According to the final Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported around 48,200 tons of line pipe in November last year, decreasing by 37% compared to the previous month but rising by 3% from the same month a year earlier.

Among them, the imports from Ukraine accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 9,600 tons, a month-on-month surge of 109.2% and a year-on-year jump of 186.1%. Other major import sources included South Korea (around 9,300 tons) and Canada (around 8,200 tons).

During the period, the import value totaled approximately US$85 million, down by 34.6% month on month and up by 24.3% year on year.
