Brazil’s manganese ore exports rise in Dec m-o-m

According to Brazilian Customs, Brazil’s manganese ore exports totaled around 53,000 tons in December last year, rising by 7.3% compared to the preceding month.

During the period, Brazil’s manganese ore was mainly exported to China, totaling roughly 51,000 tons. Colombia and Vietnam ranked second and third with 1,600 tons and 1,000 tons, respectively.

In the whole year of 2022, Brazil’s manganese ore exports amounted to 1.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 35.8%.
