Turkey’s wire rod exports fall in Nov m-o-m, y-o-y

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November 2022, Turkey’s wire rod exports were 55,000 tons, decreasing by 22% month on month and plunging by 88% year on year. Among them, the exports to Israel totaled nearly 31,000 tons, falling by 70% from the same month of last year.

In the first eleven months of 2022, Turkey’s wire rod exports amounted to 1.12 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14%. The export value was US$894 million, decreasing by 6.2% from the same period a year ago. Among them, the exports to Israel, Romania, and the Netherlands were about 266,000 tons, 126,000 tons, and 50,000 tons, respectively.
