Argentina’s crude steel output increases in Oct, m-o-m, y-o-y

According to data from Argentina's Steel Chamber (CAA), in October, Argentina’s crude steel production hit a record high in the past 10.5 years to 493,000 tons, increasing by 15% month on month and growing by 10.1% year on year.

Meanwhile, the hot-rolled steel product output was around 418,000 tons, rising by 6.4% month on month but decreasing by 0.3% year on year.

In the first ten months, the crude steel production in Argentina was about 4.2 million tons, growing by 5% from the same month a year ago. At the same time, the hot-rolled steel product production amounted to 3.86 million tons, dropping by 2% from the same period of last year.
