Brazil’s wire rod exports plummet in Oct m-o-m

According to statistics, Brazil’s wire rod exports totaled around 2,000 tons in October this year, plummeting by 94.9% compared to the preceding month.

Among them, the exports were all to South American countries. The supply from Gerdau and ArcelorMittal was 1,700 tons and 300 tons, respectively.

During the period, Brazil’s wire rod imports totaled approximately 21,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 35.8%. Among them, 10,600 tons were from China, 9,200 tons were from Egypt, and 1,600 tons were from European countries.
