5 Oct 2022 15:12 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
According to the final result of the first expedited sunset review of the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that the withdrawal of the existing AD orders on steel concrete reinforcing bars (rebar) from Turkey, Taiwan, and Japan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at levels indicated in the final result of sunset reviews.

The weighted-average dumping margin was 4.17% for Turkey, up to 32.01% for Taiwan, and up to 209.46% for Japan.

The product involved is steel concrete reinforcing bar imported in either straight length or coil form regardless of metallurgy, length, diameter, or grade or lack thereof.

This order was applicable from October 4, 2022.
