It was reported that Acciaierie d'Italia, an Italian steel company, will stop production at another blast furnace from August 1 due to low cash flow, weak market demand, and high production costs. There is only one unit working now. However, the company declined to give a comment.

Acciaierie d'Italia recently announced that its production exceeded 4 million tons in 2021, better than the estimated 3 million tons per year by most market participants.

Besides, there is also news of secured loans now, enabling operational financing for the next year and a half.
