Yeou Yih Steel Co., Ltd., a main hot-rolled stainless steel plate manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its revenue was around NT$249 million in April, hiking by 56% from the same month a year ago. The performance has risen for 11 consecutive months year on year. The revenue hiked in April because nickel prices skyrocketed and demand was high.

The cumulative after-tax revenue in the first four months of this year was around NT$1.08 billion, up by 90% compared to the year-ago period. It was expected that revenue in the second quarter will rise year on year as well.

In the first quarter of this year, Yeou Yih’s net profit after tax was NT$37 million, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.41, which was greatly higher than NT$0.07 in the same period of last year.
