According to statistics of Taiwan Customs, Taiwan exported around 36,035 tons of welded steel pipes in April, increasing by 53% month on month.

Among them, the US accounted for the most proportion, growing by 47% to around 26,238 tons month on month, but the average export prices dropped by US$35/ton compared with March. The following proportion included Australia (around 4,155tons), Thailand (1,295 tons), the Philippines (1,013 tons).

Taiwan’s steel manufacturers indicated that the exports were expected to maintain at a high level in the second quarter.
