Turkey’s automobile sales fall in Nov y-o-y

According to statistics from Turkey Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD), Turkey’s sales volume of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles amounted to around 60,200 units this November, growing by 6.1% compared to the previous month while falling by nearly 25% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the sales of passenger cars had a month-on-month decline of 6% and a year-on-year drop of 33.2% to roughly 43,000 units, and the sales of light commercial vehicles grew by 6.1% month on month and by 9.2% year on year to approximately 17,200 units.
In the first 11 months of this year, Turkey’s sales of domestic passenger cars and light commercial vehicles amounted to roughly 675,100 units, up by 1% year on year.
Among them, passenger cars accounted for around 518,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%; light commercial vehicles occupied about 156,800 units, up by 12.7% year on year.
