Turkey’s rebar exports climb in Jan-Oct period y-o-y

According to statistics from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in the first ten months of this year, Turkey exported around 6.2 million tons of rebar, hiking by 39.6% compared to the same period a year ago. The export value during the period was roughly US$3.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 105.4%.
Among them, the top three export destinations were Israel (around 911,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%), Yemen (around 751,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 5.6%), and Singapore (around 643,200 tons, a year-on-year surge of 174.6%).
In October alone, Turkey's rebar exports totaled around 632,600 tons, dropping by 12% from the previous month while rising by 25% from the same month a year earlier. The export value had a month-on-month decrease of 16.6% and a year-on-year increase of 95.6%, reaching roughly US$436 million.
