Odisha government approves projects of ferroalloy & coke and petroleum products

The Odisha government has approved eight industrial projects through the Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), including Shyam Metalics and Energy’s proposed expansion projects of ferroalloys plant and Jindal Coke’s expansion projects of its coke and petroleum plant.

Shyam Metalics and Energy’s has been approved to set up a ferroalloys plant with an annual capacity of 0.108 million tons, 50 megawatt (MW) captive power plant (CPP), as well as railway siding with a total investment of Rs.328.75 crore.

For Jindal Coke, the company was approved to expand its coke and petroleum plant from 425,000 tons per year to 850,000 tons per year in Kalinganagar, with a total investment of Rs.470 crore.
