US’ drawn wire exports drop in Aug m-o-m

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 6,800 tons of drawn wire in August, falling by 9.6% compared to the previous month while hiking by nearly 30% from the same month a year earlier.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 3,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.46% and a year-on-year hike of 123.2%. Canada ranked second with around 2,300 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons during the reporting period.
During the period, the export value totaled approximately US$18 million, down by 1.1% month on month and up by 46.4% year on year.
