US’ crude steel weekly output declines on Oct 23

According to the market, the total output for crude steel in the US of the week from October 17th to October 23rd was around 1.87 million short tons, slightly lower than the previous week’s 1.88 million short tons.

However, the number was still higher than last year’s 1.55 million short tons, and the domestic capacity utilization showed over 70%.

From the beginning of this year, the total output of crude steel in the US was around 77 million short tons, increased by over 20% from the same period last year.
